Hello everyone! I want to share my experience on using one of the forwarding service company which is KorGou. Here's the website link if you want to visit http://www.korgou.com/en/ π
Before using this service, I make a very thorough research about it because I don't want anything goes wrong with the flow of the service and also the item itself. I'm checking all the reviews on Twitter and etc but yeah my parcel arrive safely.
I'm an ARMY so of course I have bought a lot of BTS merchandises. π And regarding to the Covid-19 restrictions, Weverse Shop can't directly send the items that I bought from it straight to my home and it only can be shipped in South Korea only π’ So, I google on how to get a Korean Address for free, and yeah I found KorGou website.
So, the first step as usual you need to register yourself on KorGou to enable yourself to get a Korean address. You need to fill your names, no phone and etc.
Then, you will see the Dashboard. You will see your Unique Identity Number, Email, etc on this Dashboard. The Unique Identity Number will be given as soon as you register on KorGou. There's also Balance which is for you to top up the money for you to pay the shipping fee. You can use PayPal to top up the money. I advice you to top up the money early before your parcel arrive at the warehouse because it took a long time to update on the website.
This is the example of my Korean Address. They will provide it for free with the Korean phone number.
As you can see, here I bought BTS Official Lightstick and also Graphic Lyrics book. It only took a short time to arrive within Korea. Then, KorGou emailed me that there were packages arrived at the warehouse (the Korean address that I put in the Weverse Shop). They will update it like this.
You clicked on the Package Forward and you will see like the above picture. The arrived packages will be updated there, so check your Tracking Number carefully that provided by the Weverse Shop. If it is your package, the Tracking Number should be match with your Tracking Number on Weverse Shop. After you confirm that the item arrive is your item, you click on Package Forward Application and fill the form.

ReplyDeleteHello :) after applying for forwarding service... does korgou gives an option to choose our shipping service such as DHL or FedEx? And to choose that where must I go ? After going there what must I copy the tracking number there or how ya ?
ReplyDeleteHello, sorry for the late reply, I just saw this comment here :( Yes, Korgou give options which shipping courier service that you want. When your parcel already arrive at the warehouse, you need to fill the Package Forward application, basically you need to fill out your details and so on, then, in this application, you can choose which shipping courier service that you want, (in my case, I want to ship my parcel to Malaysia, and I choose EMS since the shipping rate is more cheaper than DHL). After done fill out the application, they will automatically calculate the shipping fees for your parcel and you need to pay for it first and then they will proceed to ship your parcel. Then, you need to keep up-to-date the application for the status and tracking number of your parcel. They will provide new tracking number from the shipping courier service that you choose.
Deletehi, if i have more than one items arrived and would like to consolidate it in one packages, how do i do that?

DeleteHi, sorry for late reply :( if you see the pictures I attached here in my blog, I showed the steps to consolidate parcels which were more than one actually. When all your parcels already arrive at the warehouse, you need to tick all the parcels that you want to consolidate at the "Arrived packages" part and then click the button "Package Forward Application". Then, you need to fill out your details and so on. The more items you consolidate, the shipping rate will be more expensive depending on the weight of your parcels/packages.

But when I saw your blog, I see your timeline and seems like it took about 1-4 days for them to update it in the arrived package. Seems like i don’t have to worry anymore;; Thank you so much for sharing;;

Hi, for this case, I didn't get charged for the customs taxes when my package arrived because the total costs of the items that I bought not exceed the customs taxes charged in my country. So, I just get my parcels just like that without getting charged.
