My KorGou's Experience 😉

Hello everyone! I want to share my experience on using one of the forwarding service company which is KorGou. Here's the website link if you want to visit http://www.korgou.com/en/ 😊

Before using this service, I make a very thorough research about it because I don't want anything goes wrong with the flow of the service and also the item itself. I'm checking all the reviews on Twitter and etc but yeah my parcel arrive safely. 

I'm an ARMY so of course I have bought a lot of BTS merchandises. 😂 And regarding to the Covid-19 restrictions, Weverse Shop can't directly send the items that I bought from it straight to my home and it only can be shipped in South Korea only 😢 So, I google on how to get a Korean Address for free, and yeah I found KorGou website.

So, the first step as usual you need to register yourself on KorGou to enable yourself to get a Korean address. You need to fill your names, no phone and etc.

Then, you will see the Dashboard. You will see your Unique Identity Number, Email, etc on this Dashboard. The Unique Identity Number will be given as soon as you register on KorGou. There's also Balance which is for you to top up the money for you to pay the shipping fee. You can use PayPal to top up the money. I advice you to top up the money early before your parcel arrive at the warehouse because it took a long time to update on the website.

This is the example of my Korean Address. They will provide it for free with the Korean phone number.

As you can see, here I bought BTS Official Lightstick and also Graphic Lyrics book. It only took a short time to arrive within Korea. Then, KorGou emailed me that there were packages arrived at the warehouse (the Korean address that I put in the Weverse Shop). They will update it like this.

You clicked on the Package Forward and you will see like the above picture. The arrived packages will be updated there, so check your Tracking Number carefully that provided by the Weverse Shop. If it is your package, the Tracking Number should be match with your Tracking Number on Weverse Shop. After you confirm that the item arrive is your item, you click on Package Forward Application and fill the form.

After you fill the form, you will see like the picture above. They will calculate the shipping fees for you. If you want to double check the shipping price, you can go to their website http://www.korgou.com/en/pricing/ 

Then, you will see on the Package Forward Order part, there should be an entry of your application. You need to check time-to-time for the status of your package forward and also the Tracking No. of your parcel to your country.

How to calculate the package forwarding service fees by yourself

Shipping fee (refer on the pricing table on the website) + Processing fee + Value-added service fee (optional) = Total fees

Example, for my case. I bought two items from Weverse Shop. So, there would be two packages arrived at the warehouse. The total weight for both item is 1740g. So, the price fall under 2kg item which is 26500won for my country and the processing fee is 4000won (because 2000won per KG). 

To sum it all:

Shipping fee (26500won) + Processing fee (4000won) + Value-added service fee (Package consolidation - Free) = 30500won

*Please note that the price is for EMS courier

And voila, after I waited for about 2 months, my items already arrived! I'm using EMS courier so that's why it took a long time to arrive. You can choose any courier that you want and that shipped to your country when applying the Package Forward Application. I'm really satisfied with the service because the parcel arrived in a good condition.

And these are the items that I bought from Weverse Shop, BTS Official Lightstick Map Of The Soul Special Edition and also the Graphic Lyrics book. There are so beautiful 😍
